Chiropractic care is a method of removing spinal damage so that your body may work better and heal itself. Checkups including spinal adjustments in order to relieve spinal stress allow the body to restore itself to a greater level of health. A healthy spine can improve many disease or conditions.

We offer spinal decompression treatments using such as Antalgic-Trak, DRX-9000 and DRX-9000C for treating herniated disc, bulging disc, pinched nerve and sciatica.

Chiropractic is a hands-on, drug-free health care system developed over 100 years ago. Chiropractic physicians use various modalities to treat ailments that a patient may have. One modality that we use is known as Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy (CMT) or as an “adjustment”. An adjustment is preformed by using a short, gentle thrust to induce motion upon a fixated joint. These fixations are commonly caused by poor posture, faulty occupational ergonomics, past injuries, and age progression. Depending on your individual case, x-ray’s, electro-stimulation, and soft-tissue mobilization may also be used.

Increases and maintains muscle strength, endurance and coordination while evaluating physical problems. Restore and increase range of motion in joints. Decrease pain, muscle spasms and swelling of joints. Alleviate a wide variety of problems such as walking, stress and the healing of soft tissue.
Promotes and re-establishes the free flow of Qi (energy).
Has been used for centuries throughout Asia and more recently in the United States to treat hundreds of conditions such as acute pain, chronic pain, back pain, stress, headache, immunological problems and many more.

Acupuncture is an eastern medical art that is based on the philosophy of “Qi” energy. Qi energy flows throughout your body within distinct channels called meridians. It is believed that disease or pain is caused when there is a disruption or imbalance within these energy meridians. What can bring imbalance to these energy channels? Central to chinese philosophy is the idea of balance. Living a balanced life between work, rest, diet, and emotional balance are vital to one's health. When there is an imbalance, disruption in energy flow occurs. Imbalances can also be caused by physical injuries which may have occured previously. Acupuncture consists placing hair-thin needles at exact points along these channels to either promote or open energy. Acupuncture is excellent for many conditions ranging from common aches and pains to smoking cessation, digestive problems, and weight loss. I practice traditional meridian-style acupuncture as taught in Asia. I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have upon your visit to the clinic.
When patients have numbness, tingling, pain, weakness, and/or muscle cramping, you will be considered to have Nerve Conduction Studies (NCV) and/or Electromyography (EMG) tests for diagnosing patients’ symptoms.

Nerve Conduction Studies (NCV) shows how well the body’s electrical signals are traveling to a nerve. This is done by applying small electrical shocks to the nerve and recording how the nerve works. These shocks cause a quick, mild, tingling feeling. The doctor may test several nerves.

For Electromyography (EMG) exam, a small, thin needle is inserted into several muscles to see if there are any problems. A new needle is used for each patient, and it is thrown away after the test. There may be a small amount of pain when the needle is put in.
Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) is truly an accurate name of the procedure. Those undergoing this are put under twilight anesthesia, or a mild sedative. While you’re in the drowsy and relaxed state two MUA specialists manipulate your spine and extremities. They are putting you through movements that – considering the present state of your problem – would hurt too much to perform without the sedative. Additionally, the anesthesiologist remains in the room for the entire procedure as well. The goal of MUA is to restore motion, break up adhesions that have formed in the muscles around the joint capsule and the nerve root.
